The Relationship Lab

Join DC SAFE and the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs for The Relationship Lab, a four-week series for LGBTQ+ communities exploring love, boundaries, communication, and connection. Through real conversations and engaging discussions, participants will explore what makes relationships healthy and how to recognize the signs when they’re not.

Each session will explore a different aspect of relationships:

• September 29, 2026: The Excitement Trap: Green Flags vs. Red Flags
• October 6, 2026: Gay Men, Love and Dating
• October 13, 2026: Yours, Mine, Ours — Love & Money
• October 20, 2026: When Love Evolves: Navigating Gender Transition

All sessions will take place from 6:00–7:30 PM at 899 North Capitol Street NE, Suite 700, Washington, DC 20002. Each session is limited to 20 participants.

The series will be facilitated by DC SAFE’s Michelle Sewell and Edmond Langemak in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs.
