Since its establishment in 2012, Soundstream's Emerging Composers Forum has commissioned 24 emerging composers, whose performances have been recorded and broadcast through national radio. The ECF Fundraiser raises funds to underpin the commissioning of new Australian works by Australia's up and coming composers through a mentorship program. Our 2025 ECF looks to be one of our most exciting yet, with mentors including the Inarma Women's Choir from Titjikala NT and renowned soundscape composers and sound artists Cheryl Leonard (US) and Jesse Budel in residence at Aldinga Beach.
Thanks to the ACF Boost program, your donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar with a funding ‘boost’ up to $5,000 from Creative Australia.
