Course Description: This 1-day trauma injury management course focuses on techniques on how to identify and render aid for trauma injuries to yourself or another person.Students will become familiarized in the use of vital components contained in an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) and will learn how to treat injuries ranging from puncture wounds and abrasions to gunshot wounds and lacerations.
Students will be tested at various skill stations, evaluating each skill learned in the class and the class will conclude with students participating in evaluated medical emergency role-playing scenarios.
