Emergency First Aid Training

Who Should Attend: This Emergency First Aid Training Course is suitable for anyone who might have to respond to emergencies in the home, workplace, or in the community. The emergency first aid training course will also enable learners to act as a backup to qualified First Aid Responders in the workplace.

Course Duration: 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Course Content:

• Scene Management
• First Aid Equipment
• Shock/Fainting/Unconsciousness – Focusing on Recovery position.
• Asthma Attack
• Adult CPR
• Stroke
• Heart Attack
• Bleeding & wounds
• Burns & Scalding
• Bandaging

Participants will gain the necessary skills and knowledge to use a range of practical basic first aid skills which will enable them to deal competently and confidently with common injuries and illnesses.

Learners will also be trained in the basic techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and the action to take in the event of a person choking.

Certification: A Guardian Emergency First Aid Training Certificate (2-year) is awarded to participants once they have successfully completed the course.

The training is delivered onsite, at our premises, as face-to-face training.Prerequisites:

All participants must be fluent in English.

Participants must be in good physical condition to perform CPR and other practical skills, including clearing a choking victim's airway, positioning someone in the recovery posture, and applying bandages to injured limbs.
