Taking place Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9, 2026, artwork will be on display from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with artists present from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM each evening. Located at 105 Wells St, Suite 120, Erie, CO, Erie Social Club provides the perfect backdrop—an intimate, thoughtfully designed wine bar known for its curated selection of wines, creative cocktails, and inviting environment rooted in connection and storytelling.
Emerge: Erie features the work of five Colorado artists—Kristi Arzola, Laura Oakley, Liz Unruh, Karl Reeder, and Jadyn Reeder—each bringing a distinct voice and artistic style. Together, their work creates a dynamic and diverse collection of original, hand-painted art.
Kristi Arzola, an award-winning watercolor artist and instructor, is known for her vibrant use of color, warmth, and light. Her work captures the beauty of nature through expressive landscapes, florals, and detailed animal portraits that offer both a sense of calm and an appreciation for intricate detail.
Laura Oakley, an Erie-based painter working in oil and acrylic, creates bold, luminous pieces that blend wildlife, surreal imagery, and layered narratives. Her work invites viewers to look closer and uncover deeper meaning shaped by both personal experience and imagination.
Liz Unruh’s work celebrates the quiet beauty of nature through thoughtful composition and expressive color. Working in painting and mixed media, she creates pieces that feel grounded, peaceful, and deeply connected to the natural world.
Karl Reeder brings a distinctive approach to storytelling through paint, combining strong composition with creative exploration. His work often draws from both natural and imaginative elements, inviting viewers to pause and discover new details with each viewing.
Jadyn Reeder, a self-taught artist, blends illustration, surrealism, and urban influences across a variety of mediums including colored pencil, gouache, ink, and acrylic. Her work reflects a bold, evolving voice rooted in experimentation and curiosity.
Beyond the artwork itself, Emerge: Erie is designed as an experience. Guests can enjoy handcrafted cocktails, curated wines, and small bites while engaging with artists and fellow community members in a relaxed and social setting.
Attendees will also have access to several unique event features. A limited number of artist-created grab bags will be available for the first guests each evening.
