The National Association of University Women Celebrates 115 Years of Community Service!

Join us for the Emerald Founders Day Gala hosted by the National Association of University Women (NAUW) Little Rock Metro Area Branch. This special event will be held on Saturday, March 15 at 12:00 PM at Shorter College in the café, and promises to be an inspiring afternoon celebrating women, community, and education.

Our theme for this year’s gala is “Visionary Women Serving in Unity and Love,” honoring the incredible impact women make in their communities and in the world. We are proud to feature Representative Denise Ennett as our guest speaker, who will inspire us with her vision for service and leadership.

During this event, we will also present the prestigious Emerald City Awards, which will recognize outstanding achievements in various fields. This year’s honorees include:

HBCU Faculty Rookie of the Year

HBCU Most Valuable Educator of the Year

Youth Excellence Award

Community Partner of the Year

The event will feature a delightful brunch where you’ll have the opportunity to network, celebrate, and recognize those making a difference.
