Top 'o the morning! In a world filled with worry and confusion, kids need to know there is a God who cares for them. At Emerald Crossing Vacation Bible School, they'll journey through Ireland's lush landscapes, exploring the powerful words of Psalm 23. They'll discover the life of David and will learn how to cross from anxiety to peace, from fear to faith, and from uncertainty to a firm foundation in God's Word. They will also discover that, like David:- They can be children of God and have the Lord as their Shepherd.
- They need the Lord to lead them on the right path through His Word.
- They can turn to the Lord for comfort when they are anxious or afraid.
- They can have an attitude of gratitude in every situation.
- They need to look for God's goodness and mercy, their traveling companions through life.
Emerald Crossing also features apologetic concepts to help kids stand firm in the faith and know why they believe what they believe. They'll find answers to questions like:
- Is the Lord a distant God? Did He create the universe and then just sit back and watch?
- Is the Bible a trustworthy guide to lead us through life?
Why do we have hard times?
- Are good things because of "good luck" or because of a good God?
- What should rainbows remind us of?
