EMCM Presents: The Colossus Brass Band

On Tuesday, November 3 at 6:30pm, we’ll have the Colossus Brass Band on the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music stage. The Colossus Brass Band is more than just an assembly of elite players; it is a powerhouse ensemble of musicians who have devoted their lives to preserving the vibrant traditions of the Crescent City. While each member carries a unique musical legacy — many from families that have shaped New Orleans music for generations — they are unified by the teamwork and solidarity required to master the band's complex polyphonic style. We’re thrilled to have them here at the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music.
