Have you seen the trendy name sweaters? It’s not as hard as you may think to create names or designs on a sweater. Register for this class, and you will be on your way to creating your own trendy sweaters.
Class Participants Will:
Learn to Read Yarn Labels & Choose Materials
Learn How to Create a Pattern (Demo)
Work With Stick & Stitch Stabilizer
Learn the Basic Chain Stitch
Have Practice Time
Supplies Needed:
1 Sweater – A mostly cotton blend is best. The poly/acrylic sweaters are too soft and can be hard to manage (especially for beginners). Recommended Type: A shaker knit style sweater, preferably 100% cotton, to prevent pilling or fuzzing while working.
All other supplies are included.
***After registering for the class, the instructor will contact participants to find out what they want to do for their first project (e.g., a name, “Big Sister/Brother,” Easter design, etc.)
