Class Fee: $35Embroidered Rope Bowl
Want to take your rope bowl making to the next level? Take
this Embroidered rope bowl class and you will learn how to
add an embroidered design to your rope bowl. You can
choose your own design and bring that to class. We will
then create a rope bowl and add that design to your bowl.
You can add coordinating fabric to your bowl or just keep it
the natural color. With this new skill you can make
beautiful gifts for family and friends. The end products are
gorgeous. Sign up and add this new skill to your rope bowl
making experience!
Supplies needed:
1. Sewing machine with embroidery attachment
2. Foot that will do a zig zag stitch and your
embroidery foot.
3. 100 % cotton braided rope (100 feet) (You can buy
the brand I suggest at Quilt with Passion)
4. Fabric cut 1 inch on the bias if you want to add fabric as seen in picture.
5. Embroidery file downloaded to your machine. Suggested site is :
a. Designs by JuJu https://www.designsbyjuju.com/ (Put the word sketch in the search field and choose one of the designs. The embroidery design needs to be a sketch design as it can’t have thick embroidery such as the satin stitch as it would be too hard to work through the rope.)
6. Jeans needle (Available at Quilt with Passion)
7. Your biggest hoop would be best if you want a nice size bowl.
8. OESD Stabil Stick TearAway Stabilizer. A piece big enough to hoop. (Available at Quilt with Passion)
9. Ivory color polyester thread that matches the rope.(Available at Quilt with Passion)
10. Matching polyester thread that your design calls for so you can stitch it out.(Available at Quilt with Passion)
11. Small ruler to measure the base of your bowl.
12. Pre wound bobbins with the ivory thread. I would suggest winding 4 bobbins.

Class Cancellation/Make-Up Information: If you must cancel a class, please do so at least 7 days before the start of the class. Refunds for these cancellations will be issued in the form of a Quilt With Passion store credit. Store credit may also be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of class if the space is filled by another student. If a class is missed, make up classes may be held at a Sewing School or by arrangements with the instructor to sit in on another class. Make ups must be held within three months of the original class.
