Embracing the Divine Goddess Within Serieswith Maddie and Katrin
Sri Vidya Sadhana is the path of the divine feminine. Enhance your own spiritual practice through a guided exploration of some of the lesser known wisdom goddesses. Class will begin with a dharma lesson about the symbolism of each goddess and their specific role in creation. Asana practice will focus on embodying the shadow and the light alchemy of each specific goddess energy. Asana practice will include hands-on assists to help you channel your inner goddess wisdom. Mantra and mudra will help sustain your shakti manifestation as you continue to progress on your path toward enlightenment and wholeness.
Week 1 3/1/25: Goddess Tara
“Star” Goddess, Tara gently guides us away from focusing on the I-self. Her shadow side includes self-deception and the experience of lacking. Her light side embraces truth. She is a driving force for authenticity.
Week 2 3/8/25: Goddess Tripura Sundari
“Beautiful Goddess of three cities”, Tripura Sundari helps fuel the power of creation and divine will for expansion. Her shadow side includes obsession and confusion. Her light side embraces non-clinging and awareness of the true Self. She is a driving force for both suffering and liberation.
Week 3 3/15/25: Goddess Matangi
Matangi is a Goddess of wisdom, arts, the spoken word and supernatural powers. Her shadow side includes clinging to our own perception of reality and thinking that language is an objective and absolute way to interpret experiences. Her light side embraces radical non-stealing and honest truth speaking. She is a driving force for discernment leading to non-attachment and allowing things to be as they are.
