Have you ever lost a job, filed for bankruptcy, moved and lost your community, ended a relationship, been widowed or divorced, had your children leave home, or lost a loved one to death? If so, we invite you to join us at Unity Village for Embracing Change: Accept, Acknowledge, Allow to learn how to navigate grief in a safe and sacred space.
At this retreat, you will learn how to come to terms with losses in life through personal reflection, prayer, and song. You will be gently guided to embrace your feelings as the normal and natural emotional reaction to loss and change.
Grief is an emotional experience. Our hearts are broken. Yet as we acknowledge loss and accept change, we allow our hearts to open to the feelings that arise. We recognize and validate those feelings then gradually reengage with life as our hearts heal. You will leave this retreat with practical tools to accept change and embrace loss as life goes on.
