EMBRACE Seminar: Breastfeeding and Healthy Sexuality

Breastfeeding provides a powerful bond between a mother and baby, while also requiring significant physical and emotional energy. The frequent skin-to-skin contact that supports feeding and connection can sometimes leave a breastfeeding parent feeling overwhelmed or “touched out. Reconnecting intimately as partners and parents requires time, creativity, patience, and open communication. Having a new baby doesn't have to mean intimacy loses its priority position. Love languages may need a fresh approach to keep the fire burning.
Together we will discuss approaches to intimacy that honor the mother’s comfort, boundaries, and changing needs, as well as a couple's "new normal". We will explore this intimate topic with insight, humor, and practical steps for nurturing connection.
