EMBRACE OF THORNS started it's nihilistic ,blasphemous way towards the grandeur of the final victory in 1998.The raging black/death manifestations are,since then,perpetually expanding and evolving,vomiting fire and curses,continuing the tradition of the incarnated forms of darkness that declared war on the unsuspected feeble zealots almost three decades ago in the temple of black/death vortex... Now aligned with longtime fans Nuclear Winter, Embrace of Thorns are set to release their sixth album, Entropy Dynamics. The band’s first full-length recording in four years, Entropy Dynamics indeed includes many/most of the dynamics of their preceding LPs – death metalled muscularity, pitch-blackened atmosphere, stellar songwriting, and powerful production – but it also points the way toward new, creepier territory. For sure, Embrace of Thorns‘ grounding in the early bestial sound can still be heard, but rendered with the world-eating totality of classic death metal, that surge takes on a different, far-more-frightening form. The quartet heighten that frightening aspect with a subtle-yet-no-less-noticeable emphasis on dynamics rather than just crushing their enemies straightaway; when the soundfield strips back to its barest bones and ringing-into-the-abyss clean guitars take center stage, the full force of Entropy Dynamics is felt.
KHNVM
Pulverizing Oldschool Death Metal from Germany | Bangladesh.
Spawned in the vein of death, KHNVM (pronounced as Kha-noom) manifests aural chaos and destruction through it’s offerings created by Showmik Das a.k.a Obliterator (ex-Homicide, Nekrohowl). The debut album“ Foretold Monuments of Flesh” was the manifesto of demonstrating the inner evils within human as ancient art of plague, released by Testimony Records/Cargo Records, in 2019. The line up consisted for the album was polish machine Kryzstof Klingbein on the drum duty (session) and all guitars/vocals/bass were recorded by Obliterator. In 2020 Cassian(drums) and Martyr(bass) joined as members for live rituals and recordings. After an year of songwriting, in 2021 KHNVM teams up with Neckbreaker Records to release their second album named as "Portals to Oblivion". Portals to Oblivion expresses the journey of human consciousness towards it's ultimate destination, death.
