Embodying Shakti: An Expressive Movement Workshop Series

November is a liminal month. As the days shorten and the season turns inward, we are invited to awaken the archetypes that keep our inner fire alive.

Through movement, ritual, and breath, this 4-Saturday workshop series calls on the goddesses Durga, Lakshmi, Saraswati, and Kali as living forces within the body.

Each 90-minute session blends yoga-inspired postures, expressive movement, mudras, breathwork, partner and group work, ritual, journaling, and reflection. You will:

• Awaken and embody the four great Shakti archetypes
• Discover the emotional charge each goddess stirs in you
• Move somatically within archetypal shapes and gestures
• Participate in partner mirroring and collective witnessing
• Journal and integrate your insights into daily life

No dance or movement background is required. This work is about connection, expression, and transformation — not performance.
