In this donation-based workshop led by Christian De Jesus, a post-graduate art therapy student from George Washington University, we’ll explore how art-making can become a grounding practice to process emotions, tune into the body, and find expression beyond words. We will be using modeling clay and 3D materials to explore self-symbols and somatic expressions through a guided meditation. Drop into the sensations of the body and let creativity emerge. Through somatic processes and intuitive art-making, this workshop offers a safe space to explore feeling states, nervous system patterns, and self-expression.
