Embodied Connection: A consent-based cuddle practice
About this Event
As humans, we share a deep need for connection. However, most of us were not taught how to say "NO," nor how to ask for consent. Platonic cuddling is a beautiful way to experience relaxation and coregulation within a safe container where we simply experience a state of being together.
In this guided platonic group cuddle experience, we'll begin with authentic relating and mindful listening exercises to build trust and get to know one another. We'll then practice "Yes/No/Maybe" exercises, exploring how to offer, request, and receive touch with clear consent.
Participants often leave with more confidence asking for what they want, greater ease saying no without over-explaining or feeling bad about it, and a sense of relaxed warmth and affection that comes from being welcomed just as they are - no performing, no impressing.
If you've ever wished you could simply be hugged, held, or caressed gently with a sense of safety and no romantic pressure or expectation, this workshop is for you.
