About this Event
Embellished and Stitched Hearts with Jessica Grady*
In this colourful morning workshop, perfect for Valentines, you will create your own hand stitched and embellished filled heart design on fabric. Embroidery artist Jessica Grady will show you how to start your design, choose the stitches and colours to fill in your shape, and also pass on her tips and tricks for creating outlines, adding bead and sequin details and finishing the design to create an appliqué patch or artwork. Jessica will provide all materials including a treasure trove of varied threads, ribbons, wools and cords for adding texture and colour to your hand stitching.
(*Jessica Grady is an award winning embroidery artist, educator and author from West Yorkshire.
