ITC Code of Conduct and Elysium Cards and Games Code of Conduct will be enforced. WYSIWYG to a reasonable standard will be enforced. All players will be counted as being painted, regardless of if their models are actually painted. 2k points. 3 hour rounds. We will be using the Pariah Nexus Tournament deck. Players will be allowed to pick if they are using random or fixed secondaries. Any FAQ released by December 19th, 11:59pm will be in use. All books released by December 14th will be legal. ALL GW products will be 15% off both days for anybody that plays in the event. All windows and doors on terrain will be said to be "blocked." This means nothing will be able to see through them. We will be using pre-placed terrain setups that can be found in the Pariah Nexus Tournament Companion.
NEW TO THE 2024 SEASON! PLEASE READ! We have relaxed our model restrictions significantly compared to the 2023 season. 3rd party models and easier conversion approval are now in effect. With that said, all non-stock GW models must be approved again for the 2024 season. After they are approved once, they will be approved for the entire 2024 season, with the exception being that a new sculpt for a model comes out that drastically changes the size of the model. (Think old Daemon Prince transitioning to current sculpt.) If your conversion or proxy request has been denied in the past, we recommend re-submitting with these new rules in place. All conversion approval requests must be emailed to [email protected] by the Thursday December 19th, 11:59pm. ANY REQUESTS MADE AFTER THIS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.
NEW TO THE 2024 SEASON! PLEASE READ! Fully 3d printed sculpts of copyrighted models that we sell in store will be strictly prohibited for use in our tournaments. Outside of this, if you wish to use a 3d printed model, all models that wish to be used must get approval IN PERSON at least 48 hours prior to the start of an event. Any player using a model that has not received approval prior to the start of the event will be asked to remove the model from the table in the current game, any game or games after it, and will result in the player receiving a yellow card. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE.
With there being so many different sources of information and rulings, we will be using the following hierarchy when it comes to rulings: 1: Current Dataslate. 2: World Champions of Warhammer. 3: ITC. 4: On-Site Judge Ruling. Please keep in mind that the judge has the final say on any judge calls made, but rulings will be considered in the order above. If you know your army will be needing a specific ruling from one of these events, or something comes up very frequently for your army, please be sure to have the appropriate ruling on hand before the event.
Pairings will be determined by the following hierarchy in BCP: 1: Number of Wins. 2: Path to Victory. 3: Random. Placing will be determined in the following hierarchy in BCP: 1: Wins. 2: Wins SoS. 3: Battle Points.
Games Workshop has stated that Horus Heresy models are usable as 40k models to a reasonable degree. With that said, we will allow Horus Heresy models to be ran as APPROPRIATE stand-ins as certain 40k models as long as the following criteria is met: -All HH models that would like to be used as a stand-in for 40k models must get approval by the T.O. for EVERY event they would like to be used. -The player must present what datasheet and wargear they would like to use the HH model as. The PLAYER is responsible for determining what datasheet would be appropriate. The T.O. WILL NOT suggest datasheets to use. -All wargear MUST be as close as possible in terms of the translation from HH to 40k. (Ex: The Horus Heresy model is armed with plasma cannons. You could not say the 40k equivalent has Lascannons.) The T.O. has final say on ALL matters regarding model approval. This policy is subject to change based on new information and rules that Games Workshop or ITC majors make available/implement.
