The Sleepless Rats is the culmination of Birmingham based bands LoveRat and Cheyloe and her Sleepless Knights.
About this Event

LoveRat is Rock and Roll, but their influences reach into every musical genre that exists. Each member of LoveRat has 20+ years experience playing and writing music in and around the Birmingham, Alabama area. Mandi Rae (Guitar/Vocals), Warren Amos (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Jonathon Breland (Bass/Vocals), Nic Herring (Drums/Vocals), and Derek Nolin (Keys/Vocals) have a chemistry that is evident the moment they step into a room together with vocal harmonies that are reminiscent of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and musicianship that reflects the same era of music. LoveRat music is said to be "Throwback with a Modern Spin."

Cheyloe & her Sleepless Knights is fronted by Cheyloe Martin. The bands music is said to be when the "Sound of music floats down a dark street and Y' alternative."

Both LoveRat and Cheyloe & her Sleepless Knights are from Birmingham, Alabama.

Elysian Gardens is a whimsical sculpture park and event center that is complete with garden bar, restaurants as well as live-music and located in Birmingham's Avondale entertainment district.
