Time: Check-in 8:30 AM | First Toss 9:00 AM

Cost: $30 per team (Minimum 2 players per team)

Looking for a unique way to spend Valentine’s Day? Join us in the heart of the Ely Winter Festival for a day of strategy, skill, and Northwoods fun. Our tournament is open to all skill levels—whether you’ve played for years or are picking up a baton for the first time, you’re welcome on the pitch!

We use a format designed to maximize playing time for everyone:

• The Morning Sprint: 6 qualifying rounds of 25-minute timed matches.
• The Afternoon Showdown: Bracketed play begins after lunch, seeding teams based on morning performance. Everyone makes it to a bracket!

• Open to All: No experience? No problem. We’ll have "Kubb Ambassadors" on hand to explain the rules before the first round.
• Team Size: Minimum of 2 players. (Larger teams are welcome, but remember—more players means fewer tosses per person!)
• What to Bring: Warm boots, layers, and your team's competitive spirit. We recommend bringing a chair for between rounds.
• Atmosphere: Play surrounded by world-class snow carvings and the buzz of festival-goers.
