Just a quick heads up that our Ely exhibition is fast approaching. As always, we're the third Saturday in May. This year we're going to try and open at 10am (instead of 10.30am, for the first time ever!) as an experiment by the Exhibition Team to see if that helps with getting you all in reasonably swiftly. As last year we will have TWO pay desks at the front door. We accept cash or card.

As in the last few years, we will have a beautiful vintage coach running a shuttle service between a location very NEAR Ely station (actually the bus stop opposite Tesco Petrol Station) and Ely College. The ride will be free of charge but please consider giving the driver/owner Charles a donation into his chosen charity tin. Note: Once again Rail Engineering work may affect some train schedules - so please check nearer the time.

Also, for those arriving by car, there is a huge amount of FREE on-site parking at Ely College and it's located very close to the A10 Ely bypass, on the NW side of the city.

As well as modellers, we've tried hard in recent years to attract families with increasing success - as youngsters are (of course) the future of our wonderful hobby. Since the fold-up foot stools we trailed last year were such a big hit with the children we have procured more of them! These can be borrowed (free of charge) from the pay desks, one per family please and subject to availability. Please simply return them as you leave so another family's child/children can use them. The children will also have a chance to vote for their favourite layout (separate vote to what the adults have). Voting slips will be handed out on the door.
