We lost a valued member of our club on 27th January 2026 to a dreadful illness - Pancreatic Cancer. Robert Maxwell was a well loved and respected gentleman who was a valued Life Member of The Elvis Touch for his work and dedication since the mid 1960's to the Glasgow Club. He was part of a group who travelled to the States to see Elvis In Concert several times during the Summer Festival at the Hilton Hotel, Las Vegas to present Elvis with an award and meet Elvis backstage in August 1973. Robert was the Ultimate Gentleman and as a tribute to him we would like to raise as much money as we can in his honour for Strathcarron Hospice who looked after him with support, care, kindness and compassion during his illness.
So we are appealing once again for your generosity. We will be charging a one off admission of £5.00 for each and every person. We will have raffles and auctions so once again can we ask if you have anything surplus to requirements, bring it along for our raffle. Thank you all in advance and let us do Robert proud.
