About this Event

Join us for a screening of Elusive Justice: The Search for Nazi War Criminals, a documentary that explores the decades-long pursuit of Nazi war criminals who escaped justice after the Holocaust. Elusive Justice takes viewers inside the relentless search for Nazi war criminals who escaped after the Holocaust. Through powerful survivor testimony, archival footage, and the stories of those who pursued these fugitives, the film reveals a decades-long struggle to uncover the truth and hold perpetrators accountable.

The post-film discussion will be led by Eli Rosenbaum, former Director of the US Justice Department’s former office of Special Investigations (OSI) from 1995-2010. His office won more cases against Nazi war criminals than any governments of the rest of the countries of the world combined. He served from 2010 to January 2024 as Director of Human Rights Enforcement Strategy and Policy in the Justice Department Criminal Division’s Human Rights and Special Prosecutions section.
