BUiLDiNG CHARACTER and community partners, Elsewhere Bread and Joe on the Go, plan a pop-up Saturday, Sept. 6. Joe on the Go (www.joeonthegocoffeeco.com) starts serving up drinks at 10:30 a.m. and at 11 a.m. Elsewhere Bread (www.elsewherebread.com) will be ready with its delicacies. Stay tuned to Instagram (@buildingcharacter717) to see the delicious menu once it’s announced.
Elsewhere Bread and Joe on the Go will give back 10% of sales (matched by BUiLDiNG CHARACTER) to The Edible Classroom (www.theedibleclassroom.org), a Lancaster non-profit that partners with schools and communities to create and sustain learning gardens where children, families, and communities engage with nutritious food from seed to table.
This event will surely sell out quickly, so plan to arrive early and leave time to shop the 80+ vendors at BUiLDiNG CHARACTER, a marketplace of vintage, recycled and handmade goods located at 342 N. Queen St., rear.
