Ellet Youth Sports to Host First-Ever Community Food Truck Night – August 20
Kick off the school year with food, fun, and support for local youth athletes
Akron, OH – Ellet Youth Sports, a partnership between Ellet Youth Wrestling and Ellet Youth Baseball, is proud to host its first-ever Community Food Truck Night on Wednesday, August 20, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Engelhart Field (2706 Mogadore Rd., Akron, OH).
This family-focused community event is more than just a night out—it’s a fundraiser in support of Ellet Youth Wrestling, a vital program that offers structure, mentorship, and opportunity to kids across the Akron area.
“For some of these kids, wrestling isn’t just a sport — it’s a place where they feel safe, supported, and part of a family,” said Erik Tisler, Director of Ellet Youth Wrestling. “This event helps us continue providing that outlet and the resources these kids need to thrive.”

Entertainment:
DJ Philli Mac from 4GS Entertainment will be on-site, keeping the music going and the crowd energized
50/50 Raffle to benefit Ellet Youth Wrestling
Supporting a Cause:
Proceeds from this event help Ellet Youth Wrestling:
Provide uniforms, shoes, and gear for kids in need
Support families with registration costs
Cover league fees, insurance, and coaches’ certifications
Maintain the team’s website and registration system
Fund the end-of-season banquet and team awards
This event is the first in a new rotating series of Ellet Community Food Truck Nights, each designed to support different youth programs, including baseball, cheerleading, and more.
