Your 81-mile adventure will start at Hilgard Junction State Park where racers will head south on old Highway 244, running along the Grande Ronde River. Once the highway leaves the river you will come to the first of many challenging climbs to work your way into the backcountry, beginning a 20+ mile section of scenic gravel mountain roads. From here you'll begin to catch glimpses of the awe-inspiring Elkhorn mountains looming to the south as you climb up the backside of Anthony Lakes, reaching an altitude of 7,400 feet! Each member of the team will finish the course with a breathtaking trail leg at the ski resort.
With 6 friends, 6,000 feet of elevation gain, and a million ways to make memories, you'll come back to the ELKHORN RELAY again and again!
