Elkhart Municipal Band presents: E Pluribus Unum

E pluribus unum; out of many, one. The Elkhart Municipal Band salutes the colorful tapestry of our community and the talents of our members, celebrating our strengths that collectively bring us together and unite us as one. This performance will feature one of our talented trumpets, Fred Powell, who will perform Philip Sparke’s Song and Dance for Trumpet. Additionally the band will be performing Mark Camphouse’s “A Movement for Rosa”, which pays tribute to Rosa Parks who famously refused to move to the back of the bus. Rosa Parks is considered to be the “mother of the civil rights movement”.

Follow Elkhart Municipal Band on Facebook and Instagram for more details. The concert begins at 3:00 PM in the Lerner Theatre. Admission is always free!
This is a free event. No tickets are required for entry.
