Elkhart Chapter Indiana Black Expo 53 Year Anniversary Black Tie Gala

The Elkhart Chapter of Indiana Black Expo is committed to serving as a voice and vehicle for the social and economic advancement of African Americans in Elkhart County. For the last 53 years, we have been proud to serve as a pillar of the African American community by providing educational enrichment, health literacy, cultural awareness, and economic impact programs and services reaching more than hundreds of individuals and families each year.

From the celebration of Black Women Who Rock, to the 10th Annual Historical Black College tour, with the help of our volunteers and partners like you, the Elkhart Chapter of Indiana Black Expo continues to work hard to uplift our community each year. In fact, at the most recent Indiana Black Expo statewide conference, the Elkhart Chapter was recognized as the "Chapter of the Year" for the 10th consecutive time – making us the only chapter out of 12 to win this award this many times.

To celebrate this important work, we invite you to join us as a sponsor of our 53 Year Anniversary Gala on Saturday March 15th in the Crystal Ball room of the Lerner Theater. This year’s theme “ Celebrating Past Present Future’ and our keynote speaker for this years event is Elkhart Legend Marcus Carpenter.

We hope you will support this event as we bring our community together for a night you won’t forget. Additionally, all proceeds from the event will support the 2025 Historical Black College Tour offered free to several young men and women in our community.
