TO ATTEND: This program is free and open to the public, but registration helps us know how many seats we'll need. While this program is free to attend, a copy of Anger is Only a Shadow is required to enter the signing line.
SIGNING GUIDELINES: Following the talk and Q&A, Elizabeth Acevedo will sign and personalize books. There will be additional books by Elizabeth Acevedo available to purchase at the event.
A copy of Anger is Only a Shadow is required to enter the signing line. At the event, Red Balloon will distribute signing line tickets to guests who have copies of Anger is Only a Shadow. These tickets will determine the order of the book signing with priority given to guests who purchase the book from Red Balloon Bookshop.
Guests will be called up to meet in the following order to have their books signed:
- Guests who purchased a “General Admission + 1 copy of Anger is Only a Shadow” ticket. This signing group will be further broken down into groups according to time of arrival at the event.
- Guests who purchase Anger is Only a Shadow at the event from Red Balloon Bookshop.
- Guests who arrive at the door with a copy of Anger is Only a Shadow.
Due to anticipated interest in this event, the book signing is expected to last 1-2 hours, so please plan accordingly for a wait. Guests who require specific accommodations can email [email protected].
If you would prefer not to stay for the signing portion, Red Balloon will try to have your books signed for you and will contact you when they're ready to be picked up.
PHOTOS: A staff member will be available to take photos of guests with Elizabeth Acevedo as they have their books signed.
