Rooted in club culture and blurring the line between a gig and a club night, SIGNS is a party series with a wide and diverse music program spanning jazz, soul, funk, trad, world/global, hip hop, disco, and house music, alongside more left-field sounds and beyond.

ELIKYA (LIVE, MAIN STAGE)

Based in Ireland, Elikya, over the last twenty years have acted as Congolese Music’s Ambassadors to the nation. This 9 piece rumba / dance / bass heavy outfit brings together all the elements of Congolese music. Entrancing guitar melodies, hip-commanding basslines and melodic, relentless percussion topped off with the melodic sweetness that singing in Congo’s main language “Lingala” brings. With a penchant for precision, performance and theatrics, Elikya take the over 70 years of modern Congolese music history and its incredibly unique take on what makes a spectacle (think full band choreography/a highly stylized wardrobe and the musical expertise of classic big band orchestras) and combine it with hypnotizing low end magic. Elikya have earned their place for 20 years as flag bearers of modern Congolese Rumba and Ndombolo, leaving people in a frenzy up and down the country.

CORMORANT TREE OH (LIVE, MAIN STAGE)

Mary Keane, alias Cormorant Tree Oh, is a multi-disciplinary artist and musician from Dublin, Ireland. She takes inspiration from folk, psychedelia, horror soundtracks and nature field recordings, though it's experimenting with unusual instruments that has shaped her sound the most. Keane also creates all the accompanying album artwork and many of her music videos. Keane has supported the likes of Lankum and Lisa O'Neill and has three albums under her belt so far. Her first self titled album came out in 2018 followed by Swoontide in 2022, which was released through Trapped Animal Records. Her third album Moonish was released in Autumn 2024 also through Trapped Animal records. The Thin Air described her as 'one of the country's most compelling experimental solo artists'.
