Celebrate the Fourth of July in Elgin with a full day of FREE family-friendly parades, concerts, food trucks, butter making, fireworks and more!
Kick things off at 9 a.m. with Elgin’s Fourth of July Parade, stepping off from Douglas and Slade avenues, traveling south on Douglas Avenue to City Hall at Highland Avenue.
Love animals?
Don’t miss the Pet Parade, also beginning at 9 a.m. from the intersection of Douglas Avenue and Ann Street, by the NENA Butterfly Garden in front of the main parade!
Then head to Festival Park (132 S. Grove Ave.) at 5 p.m. to enjoy:
- Live music (begins at 5 p.m.)
- Food and drink vendors
- Kids’ activities
- Butter making
- Pie-eating contest (begins at 7:30 p.m.)
🎶 Live Music Lineup:
5–6 p.m. – Petty Betty
6:30–7:30 p.m. – Journey from the Heart
8–9:20 p.m. – JUMP – America’s Van Halen Experience
Fireworks Finale 🎆
Finish the night with a spectacular fireworks show beginning around 9:20 p.m.
Upgrade to VIP ✨
Enjoy the best views in style with VIP access, including reserved bar access, private lawn space, private restrooms, and an elevated viewing deck. Early bird tickets are available for $15 through Wednesday, May 13, after which, the cost increases to $25. Free entry for up to two children under 12 with a ticketed adult.
