The intensive Bootcamp provides entrepreneurs with the business basics through hackathon-style peer collaboration. It spans three, four hour sessions, with an opportunity for participants to compete in a pitch competition in an optional fourth session.Those interested must RSVP through the application form. You will be notified via email of the status of your application as soon as we have review it.
PART 1: Discover (April 7)
In this session, participants will understand their business model and how to refine it. We’ll cover: cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset, building their business model using The CO.STARTERS Canvas, refining their model with customer discovery, and refining their model through starting small.
PART 2: Promote (April 9)
In this session, participants will learn how to market their business. We’ll cover: building relationships through marketing crafting their message, choosing their marketing channels, and developing their “pitch.”
PART 3: Build & Launch (April 14)
In this session, participants will dive into the basic building blocks needed for their financial modeling. We’ll cover: distributing their product or service, knowing their value (before they set their price), understanding their costs, and calculating a break-even point. Participants will finish the session by building momentum through goal setting, including setting priorities, identifying 30, 60, and 90-day milestones, getting SMART about tasks, and creating a plan + staying on track.
