Elements and Principles of Design Workshop

Discover the building blocks of art in this fun and foundational course! Just like we use the ABCs to create words, sentences, and stories, artists use the elements and principles of design to create powerful visual compositions. In this class, you'll explore the essential tools—like line, shape, color, balance, and contrast—that artists use to bring their ideas to life. You'll learn how to apply these "rules of art" to make your work stronger, more meaningful, and uniquely your own. And once you know the rules? You'll learn how to break them in the best ways possible! Come experiment, explore, and turn your creative sparks into artistic masterpieces.
