Under musical direction of Sonya Lopes (conductor) and featuring renowned soprano, Gaynor Morgan, the Lismore Symphony Orchestra presents a concert series that represents the elements of fire, earth, wind and air.Experience the magical depiction of the four classical elements within the resonant halls of the St Andrews Anglican Church, Lismore for a concert of works from composers such as Dvořák, Stravinsky, Villa Lobos, Smetana and more.
In ancient Greek philosophy the elements were fundamental to understanding the natural world and were believed to be the building blocks of all matter. This promises to be an evocative concert of atmospheric music reflecting the beauty, power and mystery of nature’s fundamental forces.
