The Webster Groves Sustainability Commission will host an Electronics Recycling Drive-Thru Event.
Mark your calendar for Saturday, August 1 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Bring items to the parking lot of Webster Gardens Lutheran Church at 8749 Watson Road.
This event is being held with the support of Midwest Recycling Center (MRC) and some items require a fee for drop-off. MRC will accept cash and checks at the site.
Accepted Items:
Computers and Laptops
LCD Monitors
Scanners and Fax Machines
Keyboards and Mice
Stoves, Microwaves, and Ovens
Medical and Lab Equipment
DVR, Cable, and Satellite Boxes
Hard Drives and Solid State Drives
VCR, DVD, and Blu Ray Players
Cell Phones and Tablets
Kitchen Appliances
Washers and Dryers
Lawn and Garden (oil and fuel removed)
Servers, Switches, and Networking
Accepted Items with Fee:
CRT TVs 26" and Smaller - $30 each
CRT TVs 27" and Larger - $50 each
Console/Rear Projection TVs - $50 each
Printers/Copiers/MFPs - $5 each
LED/LCD/Plasma TVs - $20 each
Freon Items - $10 each
CRT Monitors - $5 each
Not Accepted:
Alkaline and Single Use Lithium Batteries
CD, DVD, VHS, and Floppy Media
Hazardous Materials
Smoke Detectors
Light Bulbs
Mattresses
Chemicals or Liquids
Tanks or Cylinders
PCB Containing Ballasts
Exit Signs
Fluorescent Tubes
Wooden Furniture
