Electronics 101: Build a LED Flashlight

Come learn about basic circuits and techniques for electrical soldering with this hands-on class. Each person will use the conductive metal alloy solder to connect wires and solder through-hole components onto printed circuit boards (PCB) which are common repairs for many household items. We cover the fundamentals of making effective and durable solder joints and discuss how the circuit works. Each student will solder their own PCB flashlight to take home.

All skills and levels are welcome.

12 - Adult. Students under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellations made 72 hours or more in advance will receive a Roundhouse class credit. Cancellations made 72 hours or less are non-refundable and non-transferable. Roundhouse class credit may be issued for medical or family emergencies. Due to our limited class sizes, we kindly ask that you give us as much advance notice as possible -- not showing up for a class without communication affects our ability to offer valuable programming to our community.
