Electric Sock Hop Pop-Up

The Electric Sock Hop is a weeklong pop-up that brings the Tiki Tube Experience to life. Experience the magic, joy, and whimsy of our concept home, a room built for real living.

The Electric Sock Hop will feature work from unique local artists, with furniture set to match. Enjoy our free pinball machine, classic Super Nintendo, lava lamp, and more as you make yourself at home. The idea is to relax, enjoy, and bring your best self. Maybe meet a friendly stranger. And ultimately reconnect with the magic within yourself.

⏰ We will be open from noon-10pm daily. From noon-7pm we will have free general admission - come on by, grab a coffee, play some pinball, and hang out. Private demonstrations of the Tiki Tube Amps are also available for you to run your own music through our tiki systems. Schedule a private listening demo.

Evenings will feature private, ticketed events. You must purchase a ticket to attend an evening event.

Friday, December 5: Opening party! Featuring internationally renowned DJ The Gaslamp Killer dropping his exotic cuts through our new Atomic Tiki Hifi Speakers. Plus free Designer Tarot Readings by a Julie, reader to (and of) the stars. And the standard pinball + Super Nintendo. Come celebrate the kickoff of the Electric Sock Hop in style. Come early, the party wraps at 10!

Saturday, December 6: Album Listening Party: Frampton Comes Alive! hosted by Tiki Tube Amps founder Desmond Bowe. We will be turning out the lights (except the lava lamp) and listening to the entirety of this classic Peter Frampton album (the best-sellign album of 1976) at high volume. This is the only way to listen to music. Don't miss it. Record drops at 8pm, no late entry allowed!

Tuesday, December 9: Movie night! Private screening of classic surf film Point Break. We'll have Hawaiian cocktails and surf music going all night. Swing by and hang ten.

Wednesday, December 10: Open hang night. Come by after work and have a game of pinball.

Thursday, December 11: Closing party & Tiki Tube Amp Giveaway!

🎟️A ticket entitles you to admission for the evening and one free drink. Evening parties are 21+

👉 A ticket for one night is not valid entry for a different night! Be sure to buy a ticket for the correct evening.

🕰️Don't be late! Parties wrap at 10 so be sure you're fashionably early.

❤️30% of ticket sales will be donated to LA City Animal Shelters. The shelters are chronically underfunded and overworked. The folks there care a lot about animals and we need to help them. I adopted my own cat from the shelter.
