Electric Landscaping Training & Equipment Demonstration

Lower Merion area landscaping professionals and caretakers of commercial, institutional, and municipal properties are welcome to attend this FREE event, aimed at providing guidance on how to transition to electric equipment to comply with Lower Merion Township's gas powered leaf blower ordinance.

1 hour of expert-led classroom instruction will focus on the logistics, economics and benefits of transitioning to electric equipment. Afterwards, participants will get a hands-on demonstration of electric equipment from manufacturers like STIHL, Kress, Milwaukee, Greenworks, EGO, and more.

Participants will have a chance to win raffle prizes, including handheld blower sets!

Info: Check-in for the indoor training in the Ludington Library auditorium

Info: 1 hour of classroom instruction plus Q&A will be provided by MowGreen in the Ludington Library auditorium. Lower Merion Township staff will provide a brief overview of the gas powered leaf blower ordinance that goes into effect June 1, 2026.

Info: An outdoor demonstration of various models of lawn equipment will occur outside of Ludington Library in the gazebo area. Confirmed Attending Manufacturers include:
