Elbow Foundation Street Fest 2026
Join us for the 2026 Elbow Foundation Rib Fest on Saturday, July 25, at the Shep’s on 6th parking lot in Brainerd.
The Elbow Foundation is taking on the full event this year, including the music, activities, rib competition, and overall event coordination. This community event will bring together great food, friendly competition, live music, kids activities, and a full day of fun — all while supporting scholarships for students pursuing trades and technical careers at Central Lakes College.
Event Timeline
Friday, July 24 — Prep Night
5:30–7:30 PM — Rib Prep Night
Saturday, July 25 — Main Event Day
8:00 AM — Prep begins and barriers are set up
2:00–4:00 PM — Kids Activities
4:00 PM — Pie Eating Contest
5:30 PM — Cooking deadline; meat must be ready
5:45 PM — Blind Judging begins
6:00–7:30 PM — Rib tasting open to the public, or until sold out
6:00–8:00 PM — Live Music
7:30 PM — Winners announced and awards presented
9:00 PM–12:00 AM — Live Music
Tickets are limited to 400 people. Tickets are $20 before July 10 and $25 after July 10.
Rib teams can sign up to compete for $120 per team. Teams will cook baby back ribs, and payment can be made by cash or check to the Elbow Foundation.
Awards
1st Place: $500 + Trophy
2nd Place: $300 + Trophy
3rd Place: $200 + Trophy
People’s Choice: $100
