Elaine Morais brings songs from her native state Minas Gerais to the stage of Munganga. She will showcase the songs that she sang since her childhood in the family viola circles. You will hear compositions by such artists as Milton Nascimento, Clube da Esquina and Godofredo Guedes. Let us take you on a journey through the mountains and valleys of Minas Gerais and sing along with us beside our imaginary campfire. Come celebrate music and the magical encounters it creates!
Elaine will be accompanied by the wonderful musicians Elizabeth Fadel (piano), Dandan Montes (guitar), and Waguinho Vasconcelos (drums).
