Three years ago, El Centro NW stepped onto the Liberty Theatre stage for the very first time.Children in folklórico dresses. A Mariachi band. A community seeing itself reflected in one of Oregon's most historic spaces.
We came back year two. Because that's what traditions do.
And this Cinco de Mayo — Year Three — we're doing something we've never done before. We're setting a table. A smaller, more intimate gathering of the people who believe in this community and what we're building together.

For our first two years we welcomed you with Mariachi — the sound that opens the door. This year, Lorena Belman brings you something that goes deeper. Ranchero music is the soul of Mexico. The music of home, of memory, of pride. If you know it, you already feel it. If you've never heard it — this is the night that changes that.

El Centro NW serves Hispanic immigrant families right here on the North Oregon Coast — providing programs, resources, and support to people who are building their lives in our community. Every ticket purchased directly funds that work.
This year, more than ever, we believe in the power of gathering. Of celebrating openly. Of saying — loudly and joyfully — that this culture is beautiful, it belongs here, and this community is not going anywhere.
