About this Event
Eid marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan and is therefore a feast day, as well as a religious holiday, and is often marked by gatherings of the family and friends. Being charitable to take care of the less fortune is important.
The name Eid al-Fitr translates as "the festival of the breaking of the fast".
