EHH School of Magical Arts — March Break Wizard Workshop
Join us this March Break at Event Horizon Hobbies for a creative, immersive 5-day wizard workshop designed for young imaginations.
The EHH School of Magical Arts is a guided, hands-on experience where children become apprentice wizards for the week. Each day focuses on a different magical discipline, with a completed project to take home daily and a graduation ceremony at the end of the week.
This is a structured workshop experience
The 5-Day Workshop Events
Day 1 — Academy Enrolment & Wizard Sigils
Apprentices are officially welcomed into the Arcane Academy.
Students are sorted into one of the Academy Houses—Emberhall (Fire), Frostveil (Ice), Thornwood (Nature), or Nightfall (Shadow). Each apprentice creates their Wizard Sigil Canvas banner, representing their magical identity.
Take-home: Wizard sigil canvas banner
Costumes encouraged: Wizard robes, cloaks, hats, or magical attire
Day 2 — Wand Making
Every wizard must craft a wand to channel their power.
Apprentices design and build their own custom wizard wand, learning how their wand focus and magical intent work together. House colours and symbols are incorporated if wished, and students practice basic wand movements as part of their training.
Take-home: Handcrafted wizard wand
Costumes encouraged: Wizards, apprentices, spellcasters
Day 3 — Dragon Studies & Familiar Bonding
Students explore dragon lore and paint their own Dragon Familiar egg. Students will pick one dragon egg to paint. Inside each egg will be one special dragon familiar that they will bond with and recive a Dragon Bonding Certificate, pledging to care for their magical companion.
Costumes encouraged: Dragon trainers, magical creatures, fantasy outfits
Day 4 — Potions making class
Magic is not only spell work—it is a science.
Apprentices learn the basics of alchemy by brewing a color-changing potion and decorating their potion bottle. Students explore safe, age-appropriate potion techniques.
Take-home: Potion Bottle
Costumes encouraged: Alchemists, potion masters, wizards
Day 5 — Grimoires & Graduation
On the final day, apprentices create their own Grimoire, recording spells, potions, and dragon lore from the week. The program concludes with a Graduation Ceremony, where each student receives a Certificate of Completion.
Take-home: Custom Grimoire and Graduation Certificate
Costumes encouraged: Full wizard attire for graduation photos
