Egri Jr. Trio feat. László Attila

A Creative Art- és Junior Prima-díjas Egri János Jr., a 2021-es „Év Fiatal Jazz Zenésze” győztese saját triójával lép a Budapest Jazz Club színpadára. A zongorista és zeneszerző 18 éves kora óta aktív szereplője a hazai és nemzetközi jazzéletnek; játékát a modern mainstream jazz, a klasszikus hagyományok, valamint a kortárs és populáris zenei hatások nyitott és természetes ötvözése jellemzi. Karakteres hangját, technikai magabiztosságát és improvizatív szabadságát olyan világhírű művészek méltatták, mint Antonio Faraò és Tony Lakatos. Triójával a Müpa Jazz Showcase-en aratott kiemelkedő sikert, ahol négy különdíjat nyert, majd hazai és nemzetközi fellépések követték egymást – többek között a londoni 606 Clubban és a Nemzetközi Leibnitz Jazz Fesztiválon.

Az est vendége László Attila Liszt Ferenc-díjas jazzgitárművész, zeneszerző és tanár, akinek egyéni hangja és karakteres játéka új színekkel gazdagítja a trió megszólalását. A koncert műsorán elsősorban a zenekar tagjainak saját kompozíciói szerepelnek, középpontban a fúziós jazz energikus, groove-központú világa – modern hangzás és lendületes, interaktív zenélés találkozása.

Creative Art Award and Junior Prima Award recipient János Egri Jr., winner of the 2021 “Young Jazz Musician of the Year” award, returns to the stage of the Budapest Jazz Club with his own trio. The pianist and composer has been an active presence on the Hungarian and international jazz scene since the age of 18. His musical style is characterized by a natural and open-minded fusion of modern mainstream jazz, classical traditions, and contemporary as well as popular musical influences. His distinctive voice, technical mastery, and improvisational freedom have earned praise from internationally acclaimed artists such as Antonio Faraò and Tony Lakatos. With his trio, he achieved outstanding success at the Müpa Jazz Showcase, winning four special awards, which was followed by numerous performances in Hungary and abroad, including appearances at London’s renowned 606 Club and the International Leibnitz Jazz Festival.
The special guest of the evening is Attila László, Liszt Ferenc Prize-winning jazz guitarist, composer, and educator, whose unique musical voice and distinctive playing style add new colours to the trio’s sound. The program will primarily feature original compositions by the members of the ensemble, focusing on the energetic, groove-driven world of fusion jazz—a compelling meeting of contemporary sound, virtuosity, and dynamic musical interaction.
