Come and celebrate springtime with Chatham County Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources at The EGGstreme Spring Fling. This event will take place Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 10am-1pm at Central Carolina Community College-Pittsboro Campus. This event is outdoors.Community members are welcome to come participate in an egg hunt, field games, springtime crafts, take a picture with the Spring Bunny, glitter tattoos, and other festivities. Parks and Recreation will also be joined by other departments and organizations to celebrate the season, including Art Vendors selling their handmade merchandise! Be sure to bring your Easter Basket to collect your eggs and other goodies! Mark your calendars now, we can’t wait to see you there!
Tentative Schedule:
10:00 a.m. - Enjoy the vendors, glitter tattoos, balloon animals, food trucks, meet the Spring Bunny & more!
11:15 a.m. -Bunny Hop Race (Sack Race)
11:30 a.m. -“Egg Toss” (Water Balloon Toss)
12:00 p.m. -0-3 year-old Egg Hunt
12:15 p.m. -4-6 year-old Egg Hunt
12:30 p.m. -7-9 year-old Egg Hunt
12:45 p.m. -10+ year-old Egg Hunt
