Egbe Orun: Honoring Our Heavenly Companions
A Sacred Teaching with Yeye Alaragbo Oodua
Join us for a rare and powerful class exploring the sacred mystery of Egbe Orun—our heavenly companions and spiritual counterparts who reside in the unseen realms.
In Yoruba and Orisa cosmology, Egbe Orun refers to the spiritual collective we belong to before coming to Earth. These are our divine friends, guides, and companions who walk with us through destiny. They are deeply connected to our purpose, our alignment, our blessings, and even the challenges we face in this lifetime.
When Egbe is honored and in alignment, life can flow with greater ease, clarity, protection, and success. When neglected, one may experience stagnation, delays, confusion, or a feeling of being disconnected from one’s true path.
This class offers a foundational and respectful introduction to understanding, honoring, and building relationship with your Egbe.
In this class, participants will explore:
• Who Egbe Orun are and their role in Yoruba cosmology
• The spiritual significance of Egbe in shaping destiny and life experiences
• Signs of Egbe’s presence and influence in your life
• The importance of maintaining a relationship with your Egbe
• How honoring Egbe can bring alignment, protection, and blessings
You will also learn:
• Traditional approaches to feeding and honoring Egbe
• Offerings, prayers, and practices to strengthen your connection
• How to begin working with Egbe in a respectful and grounded way
• Ways to create harmony between your earthly life and your spiritual companions
Why this matters:
Caring for your Egbe is a sacred act of alignment. When we nurture this relationship, we open pathways for support, guidance, joy, and spiritual fulfillment. Many practitioners find that honoring Egbe brings increased clarity, opportunities, protection, and a deeper sense of belonging both spiritually and physically.
About the Teacher:
This class will be guided by Yeye Alaragbo Oodua, a highly respected priestess from Ibadan, Nigeria, and recognized as a leading authority on Egbe within the Isese tradition. Her teachings are rooted in lineage, lived practice, and deep ancestral wisdom. She carries the sacred responsibility of guiding others in understanding and honoring Egbe with integrity and respect.
Important Note:
These teachings come from living spiritual traditions and ancestral lineages. Some deeper knowledge is traditionally shared only within proper spiritual context and initiation. This class offers a respectful introduction intended to educate, empower, and build awareness.
