Join Cultural Space Agency, People’s Economy Lab, and Communities of Opportunity for a joy filled 2 day gathering to celebrate the launch of CSA’s newest cultural real estate capacity building program Beyond BASE, the establishment of our non-profit arm, CSA Uplifted, and People’s Economy Lab’s next chapter in community wealth building.

This two-day gathering will bring together community leaders, cultural organizers, and creatives for an immersive experience of learning, collaboration, and connection. There will be opportunities to connect with peers and leaders in the region, participate in workshops in cultural real estate development, community ownership, and community wealth building, spaces to lead your own co-learning and discussions, and more. All with artmaking, food, and joy throughout.

What is Beyond BASE?

The Cultural Space Agency is propelled by a diverse group of specialists and community stakeholders, collectively known as The Constituency. With increasing demands for arts and culture spaces, there's a pressing need for the expertise The Constituency offers…

To bridge this gap, the CSA has created Beyond BASE: a new initiative supported by the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation and the City of Seattle. This program pairs the seasoned wisdom of The Constituency with the vibrant energy of community-based cultural organizations embarking on their first significant cultural space projects.
