EF Academy Pasadena Presents Hadestown: Teen Edition

EF Academy Pasadena is proud to present Hadestown: Teen Edition, running May 7–9 in our on-campus theater in Robinson Gym. Under the artistic direction of Ms. Dora Johnson and technical direction by Mr. Carl Johnson, this powerful production brings to life the timeless myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, weaving together themes of love, hope, sacrifice, and resilience through a soulful, folk-inspired score.

What makes this production especially meaningful is the incredible dedication of our students, who have been involved in every aspect of the show. From captivating performances on stage to the intricate work behind the scenes—set design and construction, costume creation, lighting, sound, and stage management—this is truly a student-driven production. Their collaboration, creativity, and commitment have transformed the theater into a dynamic storytelling space that reflects both their talent and their passion.
