+ + +
Detroit’s Cultural Center is a classroom without walls.
Educators Night is your opportunity to experience the extraordinary educational ecosystem that exists across Detroit’s Cultural Center—and discover how its museums, libraries, universities, cultural institutions, and nonprofit partners can support you and your students throughout the school year.
On Tuesday, September 15, from 4–7 p.m., educators and school administrators are invited to explore five Cultural Center institutions and connect with more than 60 arts, cultural, STEM, and education nonprofit partners from across Southeast Michigan—all free of charge.
Discover classroom-ready resources, professional development opportunities, hands-on learning experiences, student/teacher wellbeing resources, traveling and in-school programs, field trips, summer opportunities, and much more. Most importantly, meet the educators, museum professionals, librarians, and nonprofit leaders behind these programs and begin building relationships you can draw upon throughout the year.
Educators Night is designed to help teachers experience the Cultural Center not simply as a collection of individual institutions, but as an interconnected learning district where art, history, culture, science, literacy, higher education, and community knowledge come together.
Come for one evening. Leave with a year’s worth of possibilities.
Each host institution will feature a different educational theme. Select a ticket for the institution that best matches your interests or teaching discipline as your starting point for the evening—then explore everything Educators Night and the Detroit Cultural Center have to offer.
